Products

What Products is for

Products maintains the products or publications distributed through AkshaERP Circulation.

A Product can be reused by Agents, Indents, Print Orders, billing, subscription setup and reports.

Find and open

Open Circulation -> Products.

Use search, sorting and paging over Product Name, Description, Product Type, Regular Price and Sunday Price, then click a row.

Create a Product

Choose Create. Product Name is required. Product Type, Description, Regular Price and Sunday Price are optional under the current data contract.

Product Type Open and Create

The source-aware Product Type lookup can open the selected Product Type record.

Inline Create can create a Product Type and return it to the Product form as the selected value.

Regular Price and Sunday Price

Regular Price is the normal product_price used for Daily/regular copies.

Sunday Price is stored separately and is used for Weekly/Sunday copies.

Delete safely

Unused Products can be deleted.

Products already referenced by known Circulation setup or transaction tables are protected from physical Delete.

Current screen scope

The current user-facing Product screen maintains Product Name, Product Type, Description, Regular Price and Sunday Price.

Editor, Edition Center and Product Commission are not active controls on the reviewed Product screen.
