Mandals
Mandals is the third active level of Circulation geography and supports English and optional Telugu names.
What Mandals is for
Mandals maintains geography below District and State and can be used by Agents and operational output.
Create
Enter Mandal Name (English), State and District. Telugu Name is optional and Mandal Code is generated automatically.
Telugu Mandal Name
Dispatch Labels use the Telugu Mandal Name when it is available.
State and District
Changing State clears the old District. The maintenance screen checks that the selected District belongs to the selected State.
Source Open and Create
State and District lookups can open source records and preserve inline Create. Creating a District from Mandal carries the selected State into the District create flow.

Is Telugu Mandal Name required?
No, but it is useful where Dispatch Labels need Telugu text.
Why did District clear after I changed State?
This prevents an old District from remaining selected under the wrong State.
