Using Enterprise Reports

Open the standard Enterprise Reports viewer, choose the Expense Management report, apply organization/date and other available filters, then run the report.

Use the available standard layout/export capabilities configured for Enterprise Reports rather than maintaining parallel spreadsheets.

How reports relate to the dashboard

The Dashboard is an operational summary/workbench. Enterprise Reports are better for detailed registers, audit evidence, filtered analysis and export.

When a total differs, first compare Organization, Branch, Date and status filters, then drill back to the source transaction.

Important distinction – Reports vs Expense Report transaction

These are reporting outputs. They are not an employee Expense Report/batch transaction containing multiple claims. No such batching transaction is described as current functionality in this guide.

Audit use

  • Use Expense Claim Register for transaction completeness and status review.
  • Use Policy Violations for exception follow-up.
  • Use Accounting Distribution Register to reconcile expense classification and dimensions to GL posting.
  • Use source Journal links from posted transactions when a financial posting needs line-level verification.
