What Application Modules is for

Application Modules maintains the registry of AkshaERP capability areas used by navigation and shared platform configuration.

A Module contains a stable Module Code, readable Module Name and optional URL/Icon navigation metadata.

Find and open a Module

Open Application Management and choose Application Modules. Search or sort by Code, Name, URL or Icon, then open the required row.

The list also shows key dependency counts such as Value Sets, Menus and Functions.

Create an Application Module

Choose Create, enter Module Code and Module Name, then optionally enter Module URL and Module Icon. Save returns to the list; Apply saves and keeps the record open.

Module Code and Name

Module Code is normalized to uppercase and must be unique. It is read-only after creation because menus, functions and other setup can reference it directly.

Module Name is the readable label and can be changed by authorized administrators. Linked Value Sets remain aligned by Module ID.

URL and Icon

Module URL and Module Icon are optional navigation metadata used by the AkshaERP application shell.

Use them only when the Module should expose module-level navigation presentation.

Usage

Usage shows known and discovered references through Module ID and Module Code. Typical references include Value Sets, Menu Headers and Functions.

The reference footprint is for impact analysis. It is not permission to remove the Module.

Delete behavior

Normal permanent Application Module deletion is not supported. A Module that appears obsolete may still be part of navigation, menus, functions, integrations or stored platform configuration.

History

History shows recorded Application Module Create and Update events with the available user, time and source information.
